Ahmed Shehata has been contributing to the animation industry since 1998. He earned his M.F.A. from the Miami International Fine Arts College in 2001 and soon after that he joined the rigging team at Blue Sky Studios where he developed character setup technologies and pipeline workflow for the animated feature films Robots and Ice Age II. Ahmed continues to develop advanced character rigs and high-end production tools for feature films such as Resident Evil Retribution, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, Underworld Awakening, The Mist, Venom, Underworld Evolution and Barbie Diaries. He has also been involved in several development projects including GoZ tool for ZBrush and Unreal Engine animation tools for Frontlines(Fuel of War) game.
